The well known Three Peaks Challenge is an ordeal at the best of times, but when you are also establishing and growing a new company the challenge is” mountainous”. The objective is to walk to the top of Great Britain’s three highest peaks – Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scar Fell in the Lake District, and Mount Snowden in North Wales, all within 24 hours. Marcus Pipe, undertook this challenge with three friends, and a driving support team of two, that included his Network Spectrum business partner Alec Don. The team began their challenge by “touching water” at precisely 5.02pm in Fort William and an exhausting 23 hours and thirty minutes later concluded the challenge at the foot of Mount Snowden.
Marcus and the team succeeded in raising over £8,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease charity.
